The annual Track Attack Championships took place January 25-26 in Rossland, hosted by Black Jack Ski Club. The Track Attack Champs is a weekend of racing and fun just for kids ages 9-13 over two days, which this year included a pasta banquet dinner for all athletes.
Despite the lengthy 7 hour drive, 41 skiers made the trek to represent Hollyburn. One of the highlights of the weekend is the costume relay. This year, Hollyburn skiers Mathis, Oscar, Janek, and Erik took the prize for their Kids in Ski School (KISS) costume theme (pictured below). And for the fourth year in a row, Hollyburn won the aggregate trophy! Good job to all participants, volunteers, and coaches for making the weekend a great success!
